What financing options does the practice offer?

5280 Plastic Surgery® works with two independent financing partners, Cherry and CareCredit. Both applications are handled directly by the lender on its own secure site, and the current terms are shown to you there when you apply.

Do I need perfect credit to apply?

Accepted Answer

Credit criteria are set by each lender, not by our practice. Cherry and CareCredit each review applications on their own and decide who qualifies. We are not told the criteria they use and cannot pre-qualify you.

How long does an application take?

Both partners run their applications online and most applicants hear back quickly. Some applications need additional review by the lender, which can take longer. The lender, not our office, controls that timeline.

Does applying affect my credit score?

Each lender explains its own credit check process on its application page before you submit. Please read the disclosures Cherry or CareCredit shows you at the time you apply, since only the lender can tell you how your credit is checked.

What happens if I am not approved?

A decision from one partner does not stop you from applying with the other, since each uses its own review process. You are also welcome to speak with our patient coordinator about other ways to plan for your procedure.

Can I combine financing with other payment methods?

In many cases patients use more than one payment method toward a single procedure. Please talk with our patient coordinator before your date so we can confirm how your payments will be applied.

Is cosmetic surgery covered by insurance?

Purely cosmetic procedures are typically not covered by insurance, while some reconstructive or symptom-driven procedures may be. Coverage is determined by your individual insurer and your specific plan, so the practical next step is a conversation with our office about your situation rather than an answer from a web page.
